Illinois River Camping Prices

We have the best Illinois River campgrounds in Oklahoma. You can brings your tents, campers and RVs. We have 30 amp electrical sites and sites with full RV hookups. No other campgrounds on the river can compare to the cleanliness and scenic views like those of Diamondhead Resort.
Tent camping

If you don't need an electrical spot then the cost is $15 / night per car (up to 4 people in a car). Our campgrounds have the cleanest bathrooms on the Illinois River.

Camping with elec (30 amp)

If you want to tent camp with electricity or bring your camper then the cost is $20 / night per site. Our electrical sites do not have water or sewage hookups, but we do have a place for you to dump before or after your visit.

Full RV hookups

If you want the full service (30 amp, water, sewage) you can bring your RV or camper for $25 / night per site. Our clean bathrooms are near these sites if you prefer not to use the sewage during your stay.

Tahlequah Float Trip Safety

The Oklahoma Scenic River Commission recommends the following actions when water levels are above normal.

5 feet 6 inches - children 10 and under not go in canoes and switch to rafts.

6 feet - all switch to rafts.

7 feet - children 10 and under not go in rafts.

9 feet 6 inches - all floating must cease.
